These are captured product screens from the app: segment building, voter review, field packets, and plain-language querying.

VoterFile segment builder with live voter table and filter chips.
STEP 01

Build the universe

Captured from the product

Filter county, party, turnout, and propensity in one place, then inspect the actual voter rows before you commit the list to field or mail.

VoterFile voter review screen with CRM panel and issue notes.
STEP 02

Review the voter record

Captured from the product

Inspect voter-level context with turnout and BISG signal detail instead of treating every segment like a blind export.

VoterFile field packet board with packet ownership and status.
STEP 03

Build the field packet

Captured from the product

Move from segment to field-ready packet with a printable route structure the campaign can actually hand to canvassers.

VoterFile copilot chat screen with a natural-language voter targeting prompt.
STEP 04

Ask in plain language

Captured from the product

Use the copilot to translate campaign questions into a usable filter instead of rebuilding the segment by hand every time.

What it does

One voter universe. Every campaign channel.

VoterFile connects targeting, CRM, mail, email, SMS, phones, canvassing, consultant operations, and reporting while keeping state access and privacy controls explicit.

Target one voter universe

Combine geography, party, demographics, campaign status, and — where the file supports them — turnout history and propensity, then save the logic for every channel.

State-aware turnout signals

When usable history and the accepted state/privacy lane allow modeling, normalize the participation signal to the elections in the campaign's own official file instead of applying a California reference model nationwide.

Census-grounded ethnicity estimates

In workspaces whose accepted state and privacy lane enables voter-level models, use surname and geography together for BISG-style outreach signals with the methodology visible for review.

Natural-language copilot

Build plain-language source-field filters in every workspace; model-dependent requests are available only where those fields are legally enabled.

Voter CRM + review

Keep contact status, survey responses, notes, turnout context, suppressions, and follow-up history attached to each voter.

Launch householded direct mail

Household the selected universe, review deliverability flags, export a mail-vendor-ready file, and track production approvals and delivery evidence.

Send campaign email

Use merge personalization, authenticated delivery domains, suppression controls, send tracking, and outreach history without losing voter context.

Activate compliant SMS

The SMS workflow, quiet hours, STOP handling, contact caps, replies, and Twilio integration are built in. Delivery activates with the campaign's credentials and required A2P 10DLC registration.

Operate a phone bank

Build caller queues, manage scripts and callbacks, export to a partner dialer, import results, or use the separately gated click-to-call path.

Canvass online or offline

Cut mapped turf, assign walk packets, use bilingual scripts, keep working when service drops, and sync attempts and survey answers back to CRM.

Report across every channel

See field progress, outreach activity, audience counts, suppressions, exports, and client-ready reports from the same underlying voter universe.

Manage consultant clients

Separate client workspaces, roles, proposals, costs, pricing, shared reports, vendor handoffs, and evidence without mixing campaign data.

Scope

What this is. What this isn't.

The campaign tool market is crowded. Here's where we fit, in plain language — and where we don't.

+What this is
  • 01A modern voter-data, field, and outreach platform.
  • 02State-aware turnout and Census-grounded ethnicity signals where the accepted state and privacy lane enables them.
  • 03Voter CRM, saved universes, and consultant workspaces in the same app.
  • 04Mail, email, SMS, phone-bank, canvassing, CRM, and reporting workflows.
  • 05Priced so a first-time candidate can actually buy it.
What this isn't
  • 01A replacement for your field team's judgment.
  • 02A fundraising, website, or event-management suite.
  • 03A scraped, pooled, or resold voter database.
  • 04A substitute for campaign-owned delivery credentials, consent, or required A2P 10DLC registration.
  • 05An end-around on state access and permitted-use rules. Qualification still applies.
Pricing

$299 BYO. Written quote when data is included.

The founding BYO rate covers software and service around your authorized file. Data-included work is quoted after access, geography, and official-source cost review.

How it works

Three steps. No implementation overhead.

STEP 01

Request access

Tell us your campaign, role, race, and jurisdiction. We review eligibility and intended use under the rules that apply to the official file. A human reads every request.

STEP 02

Get or bring the official file

Where local rules permit, VoterFile can obtain the official file as your campaign's agent. Otherwise, upload the file acquired under your own entitlement. We never resell or pool it.

STEP 03

Work the race

Open the app. Build a segment. Save the universe, run voter CRM, build packets, canvass offline, and hand off outreach without rebuilding the list in three other tools.

FAQ

Questions worth answering up front.

If yours isn't answered below, write to hello@cavoter.io. A human reads it.

No. Our fee is for the software and service, never for voter records. VoterFile does not resell, pool, or share voter files across customers.
It depends on the jurisdiction. Where jurisdiction rules permit VoterFile to obtain the official file, we can act as an eligible campaign's agent. Otherwise, the campaign obtains the file under its own entitlement and uploads it to a private workspace.
Forty-five states plus Washington, DC are supported. Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, and Virginia are outside the current hosted-data model. We publish state guidance only after the official access source and permitted-use rules are verified.
Access rules vary by state. We review the campaign, role, intended use, and file source before opening a workspace, and we keep official-source guidance for each supported state. VoterFile is not a public voter lookup or a way around local eligibility rules.
Yes. VoterFile is nonpartisan and works with eligible candidates, committees, ballot measures, consultants, and local races regardless of party. Qualification still depends on the rules that apply to the campaign's official voter file.
Yes. Direct email, householded direct mail, phone-bank operations, mapped canvassing, CRM, reporting, and channel exports are live. The native SMS workflow and compliance controls are built in; delivery activates with the campaign's Twilio credentials and required A2P 10DLC registration.
We're in private beta now, onboarding verified campaigns one at a time. Access requests get reviewed in the order we can verify them. No firm public-launch date yet — we're not going to rush a voter tool.
Built by a small team in California for local campaigns nationwide. Questions go to a human, not a ticketing queue.
